Is that because it's a NY law in play? Or is that the Federal thing they were trying to get to? Not sure if this was as fully covered in the various media as you have 'cause some folks sound as if they still don't know what was ginned up by Bragg & Co. Just as a regular folk it seems that using your own money to mitigate something that might be embarassing to you or your campaign wouldn't (or at least 'shouldn't') be against the law. That's f'd up.

Associate in grand-daughter's law office mentioned to her that he thinks this thing is so reversible on so many levels as to resemble a stacked deck of UNO cards. Doesn't help Trump immediately but just FWIW.
