He used a Lathi, a long, heavy bamboo stick used by Indian police as a baton. They don't take shit from No-Body. In India, police use their Lathi as a kind of "on-the-spot" adjudication. It eliminates a lot of resource drain on their court system.
Unfortunately, the American court system does not allow this.
In the USA the four crime areas of felonies, misdemeanors, felony-misdemeanors, and infractions. Each gets their day in court as covered by our 5th Amendment.
In many other countries, it is often only the felony level that goes to court.
Additionally, the liberal Wokes will probably deem the Lathi a "weapon of mass destruction".
