While I was in AIT at Ft Sill OK, I tried to complete Civilian Jump school. Not enough money as an E2 nor time, I was not happy :[
At OCS I roomed with a guy called Hous. I believe Larry had 3 tours in VN and was an early SF HALO jumper.
He said his first couple of jumps were easy as he blacked out and his chute was opened by the auto-deploy. Anyway, that was a long time ago, and I believe beer was involved during the discussion.
