I could write a fucking treatise on the shit that is being pulled one the Jan 6th folks. Anyone whose phone pinged within the District has been visited by the Stasi (FBI); these guys are being held for minor trespass, without bail, and in violation of speedy trial mandates. Mandatory disclosure and exculpatory evidence matters are being hidden. It is THE LITERAL definition of "destroying our democracy." (However, we are not a democracy - we are a Constitutional Republic).
The problem with fighting the government is that they have unlimited resources. The average Capitol tourist has already been bankrupted, family destroyed, etc. They simply can't fight the DOJ as they don't have the millions in legal fees it would require.
Maybe this weekend I'll get a few beers in me and get my typy-fingers flying.
