How appropriate that the immigration policies of the USA have reduced to memes while still retaining accurate representations of the facts.
In fact, if I may paraphrase a solution that comedian Ron White came up with, we might actually have a viable solution that not only solves the border crisis, but could actually allow politicians like Mitt Romney, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and Chuck Schumer to continue fleecing the American public while actually solving a problem...

We buy Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and every time we buy one of those countries, that border wall gets a little shorter until eventually, we buy back the Panama Canal, which we built, anyway.
