Kinda, One of my better attributes in the service was my nite vision. I didn't use any lights on patrol, not even chem-lights. I perceive minute detail in the dark.
When I transitioned to the civilian market, I became a commercial systems programmer, then moved to design. One of my totted attributes was the ability to read the code and "see" minute errors in the logic.
I'm kinda an obsessive-compulsive detail-oriented geek.
I was told it's called visuo-spatial abilities.
I should have spotted the flag the 1st time...
