The dead line for renew of ATF Form 5630.7 is June 30th. Some speculate the ball was dropped and they (ATF) were chomping at the bit to come in and get the goodies.

No actual charges are pending in a court that I have found.
He has until 11/23/2021 to file claim to get them back but I'm sure there will be a fine or charge to get anything back from them.
Very puss move on the ATF's part and a good case of why Forfeiture laws are stupid and can be abused. IMO.
