In all the papers I have read and the emails along with other studies from the big Pharma manufactures, This is not a case of making bio-weapons it is a case of human error while messing with virus genes over the years and not taking enough safety protocols aka Arrogance on behalf of the lab.
FYI the USG has been funding this for years hoping to stem any new outbreaks around the world and at home. This happens in many other countries not just China.
Again when this mistake happened humans being human tried to cover their ass and control the narrative because of the lives lost. A few will resign or get fired but business will continue.
You have to remember from history when some scientist's said it might be bad to detonate a thermal nuclear bomb in earths atmosphere, We still did it along with a few thousand more between us and the Russians.
