Thank you all for the condolences. My father went all the way thru Korea as an Army cook in an artillery unit. He went to the Air Force afterwards as Air Search and Rescue. He finished his career with the Air Force as an NCOIC of Aerospace Medicine last duty station Bitburg AFB Germany.
He lived the way he wanted and importantly to me, passed exactly the way he wanted to.
