Yeah, RE the link referenced by myself & Bblhead on the previous page, which is of a person trying to avoid conflict, seriously outnumbered, attempting to leave the situation, getting gang rushed and then falling down while he was running back to the rest of his group (per previously taken witness statements) and NOT engaging these mob-minded cowardly pieces of shit (as are all bullies) until THEY put him into a "fight or die" situation.
At that time I didn't know he was 17. I don't care. Given the circumstances I think he handled himself extraordinarily well. (There was more than one shooting last night though and I'm not sure yet the media isn't mixing its twitter clips with who was doing the shootings at more than one location.)
Of note, if the whirling dervish who put 3 rounds on meat and fought himself to his feet is the 17 year old then he's likely guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, and his parents or whoever the DA considers "the adult in the room" are going to be prosecuted for Class H & I felonies. (The 'H' is worse if the 'I' illegal possession caused the death.)
Nonetheless, the Rubicon is crossed. Calvera has been "stung" and briefly driven from the village. But he's considering his options and will be back.
So be it. "Kenosha" might actually take on more import than Portland for a reason that it certainly didn't want.
