They say a 17y/o has been arrested in connection to the shooting. I may have misstated his actual experience with a seasoned veteran that he could not have done. With that said, this 17y/o was very much in control of his situation, weapon, and actions.

So they are going for murder one, not likely a conviction if that’s the charges. Definitely self-defense by what the perpetrators recorded on their phones and cameras.



Ironically the “peaceful” (violent) protestors all called 911 for help.

My heart goes out to the brave teen. His life will never be the same. The clips gave me flashbacks. At his age I lived through a city/country wide riot. Police and soldiers stood by as the mob looted and burned and raped and murdered with impunity. I had neither the instrument nor the training then to reach out to the provocateurs who were driving the mob

There’s earlier interview prior to the incident. He just got pepper sprayed by the peaceful protesters. If that’s accurate, it would help portray him as one w self restrain n reasonable mind. One clip also showed him walking to police cars w hands raised but he was told to get off the road. On the flip side, he travelled from out of state to participate. That would complicate his defense. I remember in CCW class I learned that no property loss is worth life. If someone take off with my car, I cannot legally give stat 124 grain intraosseous titrate to effect at c1-c2 spine from inside my house. Extrapolating the lesson to this rioting and looting, so the legal thing to do is really stand and watch as your property, your livelihood, future, college fund, retirement etc are burned to the ground?
