Yep it's happening, bit by bit, step by step. I posted an opinion on FB similar to what I have said here regarding over-reaction to COVID19. One of my more liberal FB friends immediately jumped down my throat as being irresponsible for proffering a contrary opinion. Well I guess it's off to the Gulag and re-education for me!
Someone once said that the greatest threat to our liberties will come from our friends and neighbors in incremental steps, not from a large intervention by government. I'm afraid that is exactly what is happening.
