A young man I work with & I have this conversation often. He did a hitch with the army in Afghanistan & I've asked what his opinion of the people he knew would "just following orders" if faced with armed resistance attempting to restore our Republic. He figured about 10%. I argue that the number would be much higher especially in states where LEO was already used to enforcing tyrannical laws to pad the state coffers. (You have to protect those dental plans). Both of us have no idea what the numbers would be of the combined .mil/leo that would side with the left in the US. If the .mil was called up via the NG, I believe it would not turn out favorable for the left in the court of public opinion.
Look at one lone determined individual did in CA, Chris Dorner pretty much shut down LEO in a large part of the state by himself. Imagine what a number of small teams of determined Patriots could do to disrupt utilities, distribution networks, .gov day to day operations, etc. Look at the number of Patriots that showed up for Lobby Day in VA. I read elsewhere that the number of Patriots were anywhere from 22k to 80k. Conservatively, the low number would put the ratio of 4:1 Patriot to LEO of any flavor including the state NG. The scary part is that the dems in VA don't seem to see it or even care as they continue to push through their anti gun agenda.
At this stage, IMO, in order to keep any momentum garnered from the VA Lobby Day event, we should be aligning ourselves with the local Sheriff's in every one of the counties that were declared a gun sanctuary county. Non-violent civil disobedience is the next step & every county should send the FU message to Richmond. Patriots in every other state should follow suit. Our elected representatives need to re-learn that they work for us, not the other way around.
