Remember there is no such thing as a fair fight there is just a fight. So if your opponent thinks something is unfair then do it.

Of course, Russia is going to use what we would call Hybrid, Irregular, UW, political warfare, and all the other forms of warfare that the US is very bad at against us. They watched us lose Vietnam, and now we might add two more to the list. Our enemies have fought the US to strategic paralysis, the NVA did it and now the Taliban is doing it to us now. When McCrystal tells the next SEC State to just "Muddle Through" we have big problems, and it does not go unnoticed by our enemies.

Muddling through is not a strategy.

The Russians and all our opponents will search for Surfaces (strengths)and Gaps (weaknesses) in everything this country does, looking for something to exploit.
