There in lies the rub, there are few issues such as this that make the left so transparent. The message of work, integrity, and contributing is DOA... Think about that for a minute... This is about vote pandering. So the antitheses is that a system where the government funds welfare for your constituents is workable is ignorant, insane...fantasy. Experience tells me a government is not an efficient way of doing most things. Imagine the cost of the government providing services as compared with me providing work and paying workers... The later is a very direct model the former is a multi layered tier system with an astounding cost to get to the end result. I would argue a successful government is focused on what individuals or smaller organizations can't provide. ie many of the ideas the left espouse to cost multiple times more than a group that takes care of their own... All so the few elite individuals can have their power and profit.
