First of all, there is not a "Jew gene". FWIW, there is not a specific gene that identifies people from the African continent, either (either those still living there, or those brought here as slaves 200 years ago)

However, if you want to talk genetics, I WILL tell you that Ashkenazi Jews have several genes in different frequencies than Eastern Europeans who lived around them for thousands of years - for example, there are several genetic diseases that are almost unknown except amongst the Ashkenazi.

Even if they don't go to Temple.

Even if they don't CHOOSE to have those genes.

I'm sorry, boss, I have to say, not only are you wrong, but science says you're wrong. Jewish ethnicity is not a "choice" any more than Armenian ethnicity is....
