Several times lately, I have seen cooking shows serving whole beef ribs, not short ribs but LONG RIBS(??)
What is the proper name and where can you get them?
My mom and aunts would cook short ribs in a bunch of ways, but they all shared a couple traits.
1)the meat was not 1/2 of what these new LONG ribs have
2)they were always overcooked and the meat fell off the bone < this is not bad..
3)nobody every cooked them on the BBQ or smoked them
I want to change that...
