I have to agree, Penn. While I truly savor the schadenfreude of watching libs tearing into each other, I fear that this is a deliberate ploy to set the stage for future attacks against conservative targets, based merely on unfounded accusations. What better way to legitimize these tactics than by ruthlessly tearing through one's own ranks, and then publically calling for conservatives to follow their 'virtuous' lead when the accusations fly against targets on the right?
It's a win-win for the left--if conservatives don't remove the accused immediately and without due process, then they're choosing to support sexual predators in the eyes of the public; if they quickly sacrifice the accused to appease the squealing masses, then the libs get what they want.
