Thanks, Doc! Wasn't that bad except for the NG tube and the elfing bed and its so-called bedding. I felt I was trapped in a giant web.
ETA: On a serious note, during the week several Cochise College students were helping with shifts and had to deal with me (

), I asked each of them if they had ever had an NG tube inserted. None had. I suggested that they should volunteer and sit through an hour class with it inserted. That way, when they go to insert one, they can say, "This is going to be very uncomfortable" and say they know this because they've had it done. They'd also learn not to pause when they set off the gag reflex. Even on removal, since she did it hand over hand, she paused and I almost gagged. Should have been one long continuous pull. When they'd unplug me I often got squirted. I suggested that they leave the pump on "continuous". That worked and I never got squirted again. I was the patient, how come I had to suggest that?
