Really appreciate the reply Box.

Let's say I was in that Walmart, and I was carrying. I hear shots, look around and draw my weapon and keep it at low ready.

Depending on who I'm with I might choose to move tactically towards the fire, or move to a better defense position, and wait it out.

By the sound of it, in that Walmart, I would have seen / been seen by half a dozen other lawful CCW's, it's not like we can recognize each other as not being the bad guy.

I can imagine an almost comical order of events were lawful CCW's are yelling at each other to drop their weapons, or worse yet engaging each other, under the not necessarily incorrect assumption that I'm the bad guy.

I get a police unit moving in, you know each other, but a random collection of honorable citizens could turn into a cluster fuck most ricky-tick.

My training is limited, so what am I missing here?
