Of the 30+ weapons, high end scopes, high capacity mags, and all those bump stocks this guy bought this last year, and however more he's bought less recently than that...all but a few of them are brand new, never been fired.

He was a coward and an addicted gambler...all the pictures of him he seems lit and under the influence of drugs or alcohol and just an overall loser.

My guess is his plan was to create as much hate and fear as possible. His targeting of a country music festival was that a majority of conservatives and Trump supporters would be the intended target and he just didn't care how many lives he destroyed in his quest to "teach us all a lesson." He knew what the outcome would be...Democrats would be eating themselves to push anti-gun legislation even though this asshat would pass every stupid "common sense" thing they can come up with.

I think it will come out through the investigation that he was a moderate lefty who with the help of his GF became a rabid anti-establishment radical as we have seen with the BLM, Antifa and the anti-Trump Leftists.

He's a well educated person who amassed great wealth in the process of living with his demons, but in the end his demons won over...he was still a coward and when it came time to face his challengers he simply decided he didn't want to play and risk spending the rest of life on death row waiting to be executed.

Don't know his motive but what motivated him was President Donald J. Trump. His stockpiling of guns in the hotel room with all sorts of legal attachments and super high capacity magazines plays right into the Anti-Gun movement. He had a plan...he thought this out and executed his plan...he could have kept firing on the helpless victims below but stopped, he could have engaged the police outside his door but chose to suck start a gun before facing that reality.

A coward all the way to the end.
