Maybe the fans are waiting until the NFL gives a big contract to the quarterback that kneels during the National anthem. Ticket sales will go up then - and all of you stupid racists can go back to exploiting these poor oppressed athletes as they compete in their violent ground acquisition game for the entertainment of rich, old, bigoted white men...

or sitting

or sitting down eating your $6.25 frankfurter and getting mustard on your shirt

The last pro-sports event I went to was the Braves game at Fort Bragg...
...and if someone would have taken a knee that day, some half-buzzed paratrooper would have tossed them off the top of the bleachers without missing a beat
