I am beginning to think that the Trump effect was to so completely blow up the conventional "political think" that the progressives are desperately looking for relevance. The labeling frenzy that is going on is symptomatic (eg attacks on Sessions, Bannon, even Kelly Anne Conway). Not to mention protests/riots, police shootings/murders, colleges/universities declaring safe zones and even sanctuary status.
The recount movement has no chance of success and the Libs are pushing this in a veiled attempt to de-legitimize Trumps victory and like their pre-election messaging will further self-marginalize.
Just look at who is being pushed to take over the DNC: Ellison? Dean? Really, now there's some stable mainstream thinking fer ya.
Contrast this with the stability and progress of the Trump transition team and the projection of stability and focus of a Trump administration. When all is said and done, I think the contrast will be very apparent and compelling.
Oh and one more thing, I think Trump may be playing Romney to obtain a public apology and then appoint Giuliani as SoS. That move would completely marginalize the Never Trumpers and consolidate his Populist hold on the RNC. All the while the progressive Libs and the Dem party will be chasing its tail in search of relevance.
And you might look for a Cruz nomination to the SC. That would be two-for. Get's a Never Trumper out of the Senate and fills the SC with a conservative.
