Agreed, but the safety pin crowd wouldn't have a clue what it was.

My FIL had about a half dozen patent with the Hughes Research Lab. He never pursed his own, private, patents. He would just offer the project to the highest bidder. He said it saved time and money because they'd just steal it anyway knowing that he couldn't afford to fight them.

BTW, one of his patented products is sitting on the moon at this very moment.
