We all know the media is incompetent, I present as additional evidence the editing (or lack of) present in the attached image.
On the other hand, this cnn article raises an excellent point:

Is the difference that the terrorist was apprehended by a team of better trained people and Crutcher was shot by a not as well trained single officer?
