but the one question I have, for those around at the time that it happened is, did the media play up the fact that Whitman was in the Marine Corps? Just like the media is playing up the fact that today's shooters were prior military, if not Islamic terrorists (which they're afraid to say) ...
I bring this up because after the recent Dallas shooting, all I saw leading the media's narrative, was that the shooter was a former soldier (USA).
Add to it, was there a media hysteria of the fact that Oswald was a prior Marine as well?
