If they were able to track-back a 4473 with specificity as to serial number info it's because they're in possession of the 4473 information already.
I also get the sense that the reporting doesn't understand how a transfer takes place, nor the use/disposition of a 4473. (This would not be a new phenomenon.)
Awaiting POTUS to affirm there's "not a smidgen" of anything wrong.
