This all belongs on the head of Maliki (sp?). We wanted to leave a training contingent. They refused a Status of Forces Agreement. Obama, rightly so IMHO, said to SOFA no troops. As a soldier of any branch, I would not want to fight knowing my actions, however motivated was subject to the Iraqi criminal Justice system.
Iraq wanted us gone. They made it clear, yet we get catch holy hell for not leaving troops. No win regardless of action.
