I would think the friggin feral cats and dogs are the bigger problem then the CoyWolves.
Here in the valley of the sun we have an estimated 250K, yes, 250K feral cats running around. And the only thing that keeps them in check are the coyotes........ And the reason why I'd never shoot a coyote here.
