And what makes you an authority on the reliability of news sources? How will I ever again post the link to a news source without knowing whether or not it is on Leozinho's list of approved news sources?

Since I have previously posited no opinion in this thread, your claim of confirmation bias is way off the mark, Will Hunting.

According to the Sacramento Bee (Note: this news source has not been publicly approved by Leozinho), prior to the incident Spencer Stone was publicly recognized in the bar as one of the heroes that stopped a Muslim terrorist on the train in France. His assailants were not inside the bar.

So, at this point, we have been told by Sacramento Deputy Police Chief Ken Bernard that “(t)his incident is not related to terrorism in any way, and we know it’s not related to what occurred in France months ago.” We also know they are looking for two, as of yet publicly unknown, Asian assailants and a woman. How can they categorically rule out the motivations of the assailants if they don’t even know who they are? Based on the surveillance video there appeared to be more than two assailants? Why are they only looking for three persons?

Based on open source reporting of the incident to this point, it appears to me that the following two scenarios are the most likely.

1. The incident was an altercation with no nexus to terrorism that started outside the bar and resulted in Spencer Stone receiving life-threatening puncture wounds from one or two Asian males or,

2. Spencer Stone was targeted by a group of ‘Asian’ males that knew he was in the bar and ambushed him on the street once he was removed from the crowd. The assailants’ motivations are unknown or, if known, have not been publicly released.

Either way, Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone has proven that he is tough young man with a warrior spirit. How did he end up in the Air Force?
