I remember him well as a kid when I watched Adam 12.

As an adult, I'm probably more interested in finding the shrinking number of rural small town America sights as in Route 66 when I visit the U.S. On scenic back country rides.

What I'd like to know is what happened to him in later life?

He'd certainly fall in the category of "highly trusted" by a very large cohort of Americans.

Which has great value to American corporate marketing departments.

I don't recall ever seeing him shilling products and services like so many of his "I'm not a doctor but I've played one on TV" peer group.

I understand that TV standards didn't allow certain realistic content to be more accurately portrayed on TV in the 60's-70's, but what a huge gulf between Adam-12, Rookies, compared with Southland in recent years.

Wouldn't it be cool if an outfit like Netflix could bring back Adam-12 and Emergecy! done properly?
