Also, SPC in my day was not limited to E-4s. And, since I was in when SSGT Sadler was, that would be the correct designation.

Moses? I am familiar with the ranks of SP4, Specialist 4; SP5, Specialist 5; SP6, Specialist 6, etc. I've heard a few NCO's speak of their wish that those pay grades were still in existence.
I certainly do not mean to step on anyone's toes Pat. I've always associated the abbreviation "SSGT" (SSgt) with a Marine Staff Sergeant, not an Army Staff Sergeant.
