FB and identity theft...it happened to me...
Facebook almost cost me my marriage this morning.
All "security" protocols were in place. Everything was "safeguarded" as much as allowed on the site.
A woman in North Carolina sent a message to my wife, my wife's friend, my daughter, and my mother-in-law that this woman and I had been in an online relationship for more than a year. When I asked her for money and she refused, and I subsequently refused to meet her in person, she got angry for being strung along and decided to "expose me" to my wife, friends and family.
THANKFULLY, I was able to find and message the woman, and she was kind enough to call and speak with my wife. There is still a person using my identity, all my photos, information about my life pretending to be me on at least one dating website, "delightful dot com"
My home is on the mend, a tough thing for newlyweds who have both been cheated on in the past to go through so early in our marriage....but on the mend none the less.
Be forewarned on Facebook - my account is on it's countdown timer for deletion.

Ain't no one getting out of this world alive. All you can do is try to have some choice in the way you go. Prepare yourself (and your affairs), and when your number is up, die on your feet fighting rather than on your knees. And make the SOBs pay dearly."
