But I was wondering the same thing reading the stories of ANA/ANP/NDS who go walkabout while training in the US.
We've only got a small Afghan community here, including some the Aussies forced on us and some terps.
Some of my terps are here. Overall, we have either been lucky, or the vetting has worked.
Ive never met an Afghan that followed cricket. The ones I worked with all loved soccer.
It would be interesting to hear Afghan chatter over it. The Afghans love telling 100+ year old stories about beating the British Empire. Scotland is close enough to fit the narrative.
