Okay, I'm gonna just ask this question (even though the DA and police say they are looking for a perpetrator of this heinous crime.)

What if there is no crime of murder?

Evidence to date is that an accelerant of some sort (lighter fluid or gasoline) was found to have been sprayed or ingested orally. That she was found wandering on the road on fire and her car was on fire. No one else is around. She has reportedly said a name (purported to be the attacker, but the police in this small town of 500 have made no arrests.) She remained alive more than a few hours over night with serious burns in her mouth and over 98% of her body. She was wearing a large puffy coat and pajama style pants. She may have gone to a party and she had recently put gas in her car.
ETA: she has a laceration on her forehead- consistent with a MVA.

That's about all I've seen in the news.

Question- how did her car get up what looks like a steep muddy hillside several yards from the road before burning?

Anyone here remember being a teenager?

Anyone here remember lighting Everclear or other high octane liquors on fire?

What if, there is no crime? She drank or spilled a highly flammable liquid on herself at the party and was driving home when (something) ignited her inside the car? Or the car crash alone ignited a fire?

Did she smoke?

Don't know, just looking at this from the outside.

Or I'm completely off target and there is a mystery man with a cold heartless and cruel hatefulness that should be hunted down and terminated.
