Again the idgits here, in the UN and other places are criticizing us. That $35 million is the sum total of money left in the emergency rerlief fund. Bush gave it all. Additional funds need to be allocated by congress!! I believe the only country to pledge a similar amount -- $30 mil.
France and Germany pledged hundreds of thousands not millions.
Now the kicker: How much money has Al Queda as well as other Islamic countries contributed? The affected area with the exception of India and Thailand is predominately Moslem. Let's not forget that these countries are among the richest in the world.
This is one time I think we should challenge the world and match other's contributions. Put up or STFU!!
