I celebrated earth day by eating a steak (it was an army steak-in Afghanistan but it was still a steak). The steak was cooked on a wood burning charcoal grill.
I ate a steak because...
...well, fuck cows.
I also drank a Pepsi and failed to recycle the aluminum can. I drank a few bottles of water, and threw the plastic bottles is a plastic trash bag that later got hauled off to a land fill, or burn pit or who knows what.
I also drove around in a vehicle that burned shitty diesel fuel that resulted in a continuous stream of black smoke as we drove through town.
