Welcome to the board. If you need to get her permission turn around and reenlist in the AF. You have to make this decision on your own as you will not have her with you during Selection, Training or on a team. You have to man up and say This is what I am going to do and do it or you will not have the mindset to accomplish the long road to a team. She will have to support you whatever your decision or you will never last or she will not last. An SF wife is a unique person and many have fallen by the wayside.
The Eye test is the same one for a flight physical but for the life of me I can not remember if they accept the PHP or FALANT.
