Love my job.
Among the places UPS has paid me to visit have been deliveries to remote areas in the 4 corners region, way off the beaten path near Monument Valley, on back roads near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, residences bordering the Grand Staircase Escalante monument, residences hidden beyond Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, and Naatsis'áán (Navajo Mountain).
Delivered to one of the more remote houses near Navajo Mountain on Thursday.
There are no addresses up there, so you just have to ask directions and learn where people live.
Hadn't delivered to this particular house for a few years, so I double checked with someone at the clinic before heading down the road.
I asked: "the last one on the left?" and the lady responded: "yeah, all the way down the road, but don't drive off the cliff; if you drive off the cliff, you've gone too far."
Her "drive off the cliff" statement wasn't a joke.
The road cuts through an escarpment and works its way down towards the lake.
This particular house is probably around 170 driving miles from the nearest freeway.

Often get to see some neat places and still come home every night.
