Outstanding SGM
I nominate this for "Post of the Year"
That is the best historiographical view I have ever read. It literally gave me chills as I read through the clear and accurate insights presented. I was thinking all the while that this is exactly the failing of
any philosophy or theology that promises a utopian existence, e.g. communism.
Then I read

Ultimately such philosophies or theologies will resort to ever increasing repressive measures out of necessity to enforce its utopian vision on a population. Progressive liberals take a note from history.
We humans are endowed by our Creator (however you choose to describe Creator) with certain inalienable rights that can be simply summed as the "right to self-determination". Any institution, or government,or theology that attempts to oppress that has taken its first steps to its own demise. JMHO
