Vieques can only be accessed by ferry or small plane for the average person. Crime has been going up there and they have some pretty nasty drug guys on that island. The cops are afraid or corrupt there. The hotels are bastions of security but if you go down the wrong street at night you are likely to get jacked......

This place is going down the big black hole know as the PR Government. The corruption is so bad we have no idea who to trust. Thank God I am out of here in a few months......
