I don't believe it's inevitable, then again I might be whistling loudly as I walk past the graveyard politically speaking.......
It did happen in the PRK, the left is trying it in Colorado, and they've openly stated they're going to try to do it in Tx. The difference nowadays being folks are more aware given the information they have at thier disposal, and the means to organize politically or act on that information. That or simply being aware of the truth, and not buying into the lies of the left.
The TV media no longer has the political power they once did, they still have a lot of power however they're no longer omnipotent in the face of the internet and talk radio. And that does affect culture in the norms that are accepted or considered acceptable.
It is a fact there's a percentage of our populace who believe the lies and no matter what truth, fact, or any form of logic you put in front of them, they'll reject it. There's nothing you can do about those folks, they're gone mentally and emotionally.
However there is a large percentage of our populace who either don't buy the political lies or simply aren't aware of the truth and when presented with that will accept it and reject the lies. It isn't a change that's going to happen immediately, that access to the truth and the results of it, but I do see the beginnings of it.
The PRK was subverted given people believed the lies of the left, the same game was pulled in Colorado and what were the results?
They recalled two leftist politicians and there's an open secession movement going now in that state. Neither would have happened 20+ years ago.
senator dianne fineslime again attempted to push through unconstitional civilian disarmament legislation, it failed utterly, why? 20 years ago it sailed on through, not this time, why?
Why did those things happen? Access to the truth of information and the ability to act on it. People had access to the truth, rejected the lies of the left and were able to act on it.
Are those things the end of the culture war? Not even close. To borrow a quote "It is not the end nor is it even the beginning of the end, but one thing is certain, it is end of the beginning" I suspect the worst of the culture war is now in front of us and that the changes are happening slowly is not an indication of failure, only the change is happening slower than we wish.
