I'd be a bit leery of all the "anonymous"stuff. The cops, did in fact, conduct a Terry frisk on the guy. How then did they NOT find the recorder? Why the selective editing? If you look at the form the cops have to fill out it clearly states the reason for stop and the period of observation prior to the stop. Even the anonymous "officers" state that they are encouraged to stack up the forms.

Terry stops are and have been constitutional for years. I am 100 per cent against harassment but I would not jump so quickly to conclusions on a very professionally produced "anonymous" audio.

Terry stops are allowed when you have articulable cause to make the contact. During the contact you may do a pat-down for weapons/contraband. All of this must be recorded on the paperwork. Are cops doing this...??? I don't know.

Cops have a tough job to do, I'd want a bit more evidence other than some kids "audio" and a slickly produced video with anonymous "officers" before I toss them under the bus.

Of course, this is just my opinion....worth what you paid for it. Jim
