Harvard University Lowers Its Standards.

Last June the premier of Ontario, Canada stepped down from his position because after three major scandals (eHealth, Ornge and cancelling power plants) he was taking too much criticism and decided to leave.(http://www2.macleans.ca/2013/06/12/d...-lack-thereof/). Now you may be saying "Canadian politics have nothing to do with the US so who cares." Well "premier dad" has taken up residence in Boston, MA and is now lecturing at Harvard.(http://www.thestar.com/news/queenspa...ellowship.html). Under Dalton's watch, Ontario's debt is now comparable if not worse than the state of California.(http://www.fraserinstitute.org/resea....aspx?id=19285). It just boggles one's mind how an individual who ran Canada's wealthiest province into the ground is then picked up to lecture at one of the world's most renown universities.

I wonder if mayor Rob Ford has had any similar offers?

As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.
