I support Mr. Barret more than 110%. I do support our police forces, but when the police take a side against the public you have to draw a line at some point. Especially in states like California where an ignorant populous, and police and legislative bodies who want to institute a police state are proactively driving for absolute gun control. Unfortunately Mr. Barret's statement will have little effect on these ideologs, and the only way that these organizations will see the light is when it starts hurting their A. pocketbooks, and B. operational capacity. Of course the response will simply be to increase ticketing quotas and to further restrict your 2nd amendment rights.
if the gun companies do not have the intestinal fortitude to completely arrest sales to these organizations, then the least they can do is stop giving these companies free-bates for their purchases. A political stand is the only economically and constitutionally viable option.
