For the ones you have, have you tried grinding a couple and dropping them in water to see if the seeds will sink?

I did order through Amazon. The site said that they were de-seeded. I had thought of soaking them and then re-drying the husks, but I wonder how, or if, it would effect the taste or effervescent sensation it produces. No reason not to try, though, unless someone has a better suggestion.
