From a former baseball pitchers perspective, I have always worked out my legs constantly. In my gym, I've always had a bunch of guys laugh at me and question why I do legs. They all are part of the bench press and bicep curls only, no squat, no deadlift crowd.
Now there are a lot of women in the gym I go to squatting, deadlifting, and weightlifting. From what I've seen, they have less of a tendency to drop "large" amounts of weight on the floor for no reason, and have much better form...
Or maybe I'm just paying more attention to them.
It certainly seems to motivate the male crowd when a woman is squatting more than they are.
