Both parties love when the topic comes up. Because their donations go up, on both sides. Their basically trolling the idiots that vote for them.
In the end when was the last time anything actually changed. They argue about it, make people think their coming for their guns, some poor intern has to write up a bill that they know won't pass.

And thanks for reminder of that truth. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the facts of an issue and pissed that the other side just doesn't see the obvious - I forget that fundamental truth. Of course they do, but it's just not in their interests to follow that logic. Doh!
Now how F'd up is that! Sometimes I want to just go screaming into the night!
