Most Postal employees are unfamiliar with the Domestic Mail Manual regarding shipping firearms of any type. You may ship your item USPS if you wish. My recommendation is to send it Registered Mail and insure it for the amount of replacement value if you decide to use USPS. I have done this for several people in my office over the past 10 years.
