holster review

As promised, got a sheath made for the Benchmade Nimravus. As you could see on the picture, no printing at all. The cant allows easier draw as well as longer knife to be carried. All the rivetings, screws, and attachment are solid. I tried carrying it with handle down and the knife is not going anywhere until a strong pull with or without a thumb push is applied.

I wanted a thinner belt attachment, right there and then John remade another custom one for me. I also tested a few gun holster for M&P and Kimber custom. They all have solid retention with smooth draw. It was a pleasure dealing with him. I sure like to support local business with proven craftsmanship.

John is a true custom kydex sheath maker, that means whatever you desire in respect to size, angle, cant, IWB, belt attachment, material, Tek-Lok, anything. Tell him your needs and specs, and he will work it out. He told me his website should be fully operation within days complete with online order etc.
